Conference Schedule

The conference will have two parts: On the first day the SECOQC Quantum-Back-Bone network will be the demonstratiated - including overview talks to explain its importance and to give an outlook into the future. IT security professionals responsible for securing traffic of sensible data as well as other key persons will be able to learn about the current state of quantum cryptography, including latest achievements and future trends.

The second and third day will be dedicated to a more detailed scientific view at quantum cryptography. Basic network concepts as well as the quantum cryptographic link devices will be introduced. Time for further discussions will be given during a poster session with special arranged discussion areas.

The second day will also see the kick-off of the ETSI Industry Specification Group on Quantum Cryptography and Quantum Technologies - an output of the SECOQC standardisation initiative.
